New Member of the Family!

Jennifer was safely delivered by C-section of a fine baby son at about 8:22 this evening, Feb. 3rd. Mother and baby and father are all doing well. The baby is to be named Mathias Eric Lobo (I'm not sure of the first name spelling). He weighs 8 lbs 7 oz – a good size – and is 20 inches long. Jennifer said he has a good amount of light brown hair. Andrew was able to go into the nursery with him while they cleaned the baby up. Drew said the baby was crying heartily but stopped when Drew began to speak to him and looked intently into his eyes. A bonding moment! I have been taking care of Melody since yesterday. In the morning we will go to the hospital to meet the young man.
